This is the first aquarium that Aqua Medic™ made available in the UK over 6 years ago. Since then its recommended retail price has not increased by a single penny! This is a great, low maintenance system for beginners or those pushed for space. Also bear in mind that although the price has not increased the specifications have. Now instead of an air driven Midiflotor skimmer you get a power Turboflotor Percula skimmer with better and more reliable circulation pumps. This aquarium has always been and remains excellent value for money without compromising quality.

Regardless of the cabinet style the Percula 120 is a superb aquarium. It is perhaps the most popular size of aquarium for marine aquarists (120cm x 66cm x 66cm. The excellent flow rates and powered skimming make this a very reasonable purchase. For those that may require a sump look to the anthias but if you want a compact system with excellent quality components then this is it.

This new aquarium from Aqua Medic™ should fill a niche required by many marine aquarists. First of all it has a sump. Despite the great look of the Percula systems and their excellent running gear many aquarists want a sump on their aquaria and with the Anthias they can now have one on an Aqua Medic™ system without going to the added expense of the Tridacna range.Typical of Aqua Medic is the fact that we were expecting a 120cm aquarium and when it turned up it was 4 feet six inches or 135cm. This is a system that is beautiful to look at, practical and represents real value for money. Follow this link for images.

The Chromis is a ready to use salt water aquarium system with filter system, cabinet and lighting. The cube shaped aquarium has the dimensions: 55 x 55 x 55 cm, with a water height of 47 cm. The total height (without lighting) is 127 cm.

The Chromis comes complete with:
- filter system Biostar Flotor, with motor driven protein skimmer.
- Powerfilter PF 1000.

The smallest aquarium in the range the Chromis has achieved great popularity as it enables people with a tight budget or limited space to maintain a thriving reef aquarium. Supplied with a Biostar needle wheel skimmer and the excellent Ocean light 150 metal halide lighting the components of this system mean that hard or soft corals can be kept with confidence.

Fish should be limited to small specimens but our pair of orchid dottybacks (Pseudochromis fridmani) look stunning and spawn frequently in the Chromis. We recommend the use of an external filter and chemical media to reduce maintenance on this system and although this is not supplied in the kit Cheshire Waterlife will be happy to add one to your order if required.

The Tridacna 160 sea water aquarium is a ready to use system complete with cabinet, filter system and lighting.

Aquarium: 160 x 60 x 75,5 cm (64 x 24 x 24 in) bonded and sealing using black aquarium silicone. Central overflow chamber with overflow comb. Colour coordinated MDF trim.

Our Tridacna 160 has been established in the shop for two years and has given us trouble-free reefkeeping for all of this time. It looks great and the lack of hardware in the aquarium itself means that aquascaping is easy. The filter components are Aqua Medic's popular calcium reactor, nitrate filter and twin turbofloater skimmers. Twin Ocean runner 3500 pumps create an excellent turnover rate through the sump and also provide the overall flow for the aquarium itself. The light system supplied as standard is superb with three halide lamps giving excellent all round illumination.

Lighting system: An aquaspace light in either black, white or silver with 3 x 250 w aqualine metal halide lamps and 4 x 24 w L67 blue Dulux power compact lamps.

The Tridacna 200 panoramic aquarium is a ready to use aquarium system with cabinet, filter system and lighting.
